Sunset -descriptive essay

The palm-fringed shadows is a constantly changing pattern on the golden born sand as the palm trees sway to the rhythm of the wind. The salty air is refreshing in a way that enables rejuvenation of a troubled soul. The waves lapped th beach endlessly, ech time embracing the shore with soapy foms that sizzles away as fast as it came, victimizing sand forts which had erupted too close to its mercy. The crashing waves and the deafening wind are the only sounds that engulf one's senses.

The sun defends ever so slowly in the horizon, casting orange hues of sunset across the sky. Lamps and lanterns are lighted as a welcome to the darkness that is coming with the night. Mats are rolled, beach umbrellas are closed. The chairs are stacked as the people entered the shelters of indoors, anticipating the dinner buffet served in the beach resort. No doubt they'll come back the next day to lounge in the sun again.

A lone figure treads leisurely along the beach leaving footprints in the sand , stopping once in a while to pick up  beautiful shell. The sea breeze ruffles his hair that obscures his dark and soulful eyes. Appearing deep in thought, he is one of those who needs to escape for a little while, to have a taste of freedom.

He pauses to capture the last few glorious moments of the setting sun, committing the picturesque scene to memory. Every sunset is unique. The sun ends each day it's own way, casting shadows that elongates the deeper it sinks. The sun descends slowly down he horizon till not a trace of sunlight is visible.

Suddenly, the loneliness weighs down heavily together with the darkness that dominated the land and sea. The lone figure continues his path. Now the sounds of waves against the sand is joined in harmony with the orchestrating sounds of insects and creatures who demands to be heard tonight.
